2025 TUCSON ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® MEMBER RECOGNITION AWARDS NOMINATION INFORMATION

Each year, the Tucson Association of REALTORS® honors members whose dedication, leadership, and service leave a lasting impact on our association, the real estate industry, and the greater Tucson community. We invite you to nominate individuals and companies who exemplify professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. REALTOR® of the Year Criteria

(REALTOR®) This award recognizes an individual member who contributes to TAR and the overall real estate industry as a strong leader and valuable asset to the general community.

  1. Must be an active member of the Association.

  2. The recipient should have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments within the past year.

  3. He or she should be well informed, active at local, state and national, and in civic and industry issues. Local activities should carry more weight in determining the recipient.

  4. In order to keep the nominees confidential, they will not be asked to submit a statement of their accomplishments. The person submitting the nomination will be required to state why the nominee should be recognized with this award.

    Affiliate of the Year Criteria

    (Affiliate) Affiliates are key non-REALTOR® members and supporters of TAR and are honored for serving with leadership and distinction.

    1. Must be an active member of the Association.

    2. The recipient should have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments within the past year.

    3. He or she should be well informed, active at local, state and national, and in civic and industry issues. Local activities should carry more weight in determining the recipient.

    4. In order to keep the nominees confidential, they will not be asked to submit a statement of their accomplishments. The person submitting the nomination will be required to state why the nominee should be recognized with this award.

      Roy P. Drachman Community Achievement Award Criteria

      This award recognizes a REALTOR® for their civic service and community involvement. It is named for Roy Drachman, a well-known Tucson REALTOR®, innovative commercial Developer, and generous philanthropist.

      1. To acknowledge outstanding individual participation in community wide services and involvement that enhances the real estate profession.

      2. Must be a REALTOR® agent or broker.

      3. Shall have demonstrated active and broad participation in Community Service activities for the current year. Real estate activities will not be a consideration for the award. 

      Florence Johnoff Community Achievement Award Criteria

      This award recognizes an Affiliate company or individual, as well as the collective efforts of its employees, in community service and involvement with TAR. Johnoff was the association’s first woman president in 1977 and a leader in civic service.

      1. To acknowledge outstanding contributions by a member Affiliate company or individual for community wide service and involvement that enhances the real estate profession.

      2. Must be a current Affiliate company or Affiliate member of TAR.

      3. Shall have demonstrated specific participation in Community Service activities for current year. Real estate activities will not be a consideration for the award.

      TAR Rising Star Award Criteria

      This award recognizes an individual member who has been a REALTOR® for three years or less and serves on at least one committee.

      1. Three years or less as a REALTOR®.

      2. Serves on at least one TAR, MLS, or Institutes, Societies, and Council committee.

      3. Has achieved or is working towards an NAR certification/designation.
