Why Use a REALTOR®?  

Smart home sellers realize they need the expertise of a REALTOR® in pricing their home, attracting buyers, arranging open houses, marketing the property and coordinating with inspectors, appraisers, mortgage brokers, escrow officers and other professionals. The process of selling your home can be complicated, but your REALTOR® is there to make your life easier. They know the market, understand local conditions and are trained on the legal and disclosure requirements that come with selling a house.

Not all real estate agents are REALTORS® - so be sure to ask your agent. REALTORS® are members of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics. They have mandatory training and are considered the best of the real estate profession. 

REALTORS® are Experts

Real estate transactions involve one of the biggest financial decisions you will likely make in your lifetime. According to NAR, more than seven out of 10 potential buyers and sellers said they would be more likely to use a REALTOR in their next transaction than they would to work with an agent who was not a member of NAR. Only 15 percent of consumers plan to buy or sell a home without professional assistance thats an all-time low, down from 25 percent in 2001.
Your Protection Under the Code of Ethics

Only REALTORS® pledge to follow the NAR Code of Ethics - a commitment of honesty, integrity and commitment to their clients. The Code of Ethics goes above and beyond the duties imposed by law or regulation, and if your REALTOR® fails to live up to those duties you have resources through the REALTOR® Associations. The Arizona Association of REALTORS® (AAR) enforces the Code of Ethics in our state and has a variety of information on how to file an ethics complaint. AAR also offers dispute resolution through arbitration and mediation services.
