Your Way Home AZ Program – August 13th 1:00pm- 2:30pm
ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING visits TAR on August 13th for a discussion on NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM
The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) was established for the purpose of stabilizing communities that have suffered from foreclosures and abandonment. Through the purchase and redevelopment of foreclosed and abandoned homes and residential properties, the goal of the program is being realized.
As part of the neighborhood stabilization program, the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) has $20 million available for purchase assistance to qualified homebuyers purchasing an eligible foreclosed home. ADOH will offer 22% of the sales price as down payment assistance in the form of a deferred second mortgage loan. This loan has no interest, no payments, and is forgiven in 5, 10, or 15 years depending on the loan amount. This program does NOT have a first-time buyer requirement but it does have income restrictions as well as other requirements that must be met.
Reginald Givens, NSP Coordinator for ADOH, will be speaking about the program details on Thursday, August 13 1:00pm – 2:30pm. Click here to sign up today.

Effective September 1, the fee for withdraw/relisted listings will go from $15 to $30, per the MLS Board of Directors.

Tool For Appraisers!
Tucson MLS now offers DataMaster, a software tool designed for appraisers. Attend one of the info sessions to learn more. See below for details.

Attention Tucson Appraisers ...You asked for it, we've responded!!!
DataMaster in association with Tucson Association of REALTORS® (TAR MLS) is now available!
DataMaster is now available to import your subject, comparable, and 1004MC data into your appraisal report with a few easy clicks!! This will significantly reduce re-typing your data, and it cross checks against Public Records.

We will be having free training sessions so you can see how the program works and the time you can save by using DataMaster. There will be four training sessions. Choose the one that fits into your schedule!
When:    Wednesday Aug 5
                 8am-10am
                10am-12pm
Where:    Tucson Association of REALTORS®
                   2445 N. Tucson Blvd
                   Tucson, AZ 85716

We look forward to seeing you!
For more information visit our website at www.datamasterusa.com

Ibox Price Increase
Effective 8/1/09, the ibox price will increase by $3.51. The total cost for an ibox with tax will be $105.00 versus $101.21. The price increase is the result of an increase in shipping costs.

Update Your Listing Status!
Per MLS rules, you are required to report a status change to your listing within 2 business days of the change. Failure to do so may result in a $250.00 fine.
It is very important that statuses are correct to ensure that statistics are accurate and timely, and also to aid you in conducting business. No one wants to show an eager client a property, only to find out it is already sold!

Access To Arizona Foreclosure Information!
MLS has entered into an agreement with RealtyTrac that will allow Tucson MLS members to access foreclosure information for the state of Arizona for a discounted rate of only $19.95 per month. There is no minimum term required to sign up. The links to register for this service are located in the MLS under the ‘links’ tab, and there is also a button on the tucsonrealtors.org website.
