TAR’s Stuff the Bus School Supplies Drive is Back – Your Help Needed!
TAR’s annual Stuff the Bus school supplies drive will benefit all 8 of Tucson’s school districts. TAR is teaming up with area Walgreens stores to have one designated store per school district (two stores for TUSD) to be the donation drop off point during the month of July. We’ll host a stuff the bus day for each district where we bring out the school busses for people to “stuff” with supplies. You can get involved by volunteering at one of the stuff the bus days and by hosting a drive in your office. Contact laura@tucsonrealtors.org to get signed up. Help Design TAR’s Charitable Foundation Logo!
Last fall, TAR created a non-profit charity, the Tucson REALTORS® Charitable Foundation. The Foundation’s Board of Directors recently met and will be moving the Foundation forward this year. A tag line, “Putting Our Community First” has already been selected, however, we are still in need of a logo. We invite those members with creative minds to design and submit a logo that embraces the tag-line. The Board will review all logos submitted, and make a decision at its next regularly-scheduled Board meeting. If your logo is selected, you’ll receive a $100 gift card to a local restaurant of your choice. NEW MLS Dues Invoice
Thank you for your membership with Tucson Association of REALTORS® MLS. We would like to inform you that the subscriber fee billing for the Multiple Listing Service will be emailed to you on Friday, June 25th. If you do not receive your subscriber fee billing statement through email on that date, please contact Andrea Ballard at 382-8786 or andrea@tucsonrealtors.org.

Important Dates to Remember:
MLS Dues Invoice Due Date = July 31, 2010
$75 Late Fee Assessed = August 6, 2010
Suspension of MLS Participation for Non-Payment = August 16, 2010
Termination of MLS Participation for Non-Payment = August 26, 2010

In the event a member is terminated for non-payment of MLS fees, they are subject to a $75 MLS application fee, as well as the MLS fees due at the time of invoice.

Class Cancellation Policy
Policy states that any student arriving 5 minutes or more after the stated class start time will forfeit the credit hours (CE).

Cancellation Policy: You must cancel in writing (email/snail mail) at least 24 Hours prior to the class date or you will be assessed a $20 no show fee.

MLS Rule Change
Effective June 1st, MLS Rule 1.14 (B) states: Virtual Tours, photographs and any other form of media placed in the MLS shall contain no Broker, Company, or Agent branding. Producer information may be provided. This is merely an expansion of the existing rule that prohibits branding on still photos. Just as with a still photo, virtual tours and any other media in the MLS is not for the purpose of self promotion, but only to provide additional information about the listing.

Quick Fixes for Common ActiveKEY Issues

Access To Nationwide Foreclosure Information!
The MLS agreement with RealtyTrac now allows Tucson MLS members to access foreclosure information for the entire country for a discounted rate of only $19.95 per month. This change also allows for use of more tools on the RealtyTrac website!! There is no minimum term required to sign up. The links to register for this service are located in the MLS under the ‘links’ tab, and there is also a button on the www.tucsonrealtors.org website.
