NEW Help Design TAR’s Charitable Foundation Logo!
Last fall, TAR created a non-profit charity, the Tucson REALTORS® Charitable Foundation. The Foundation’s Board of Directors recently met and will be moving the Foundation forward this year. A tag line, “Putting Our Community First” has already been selected, however, we are still in need of a logo. We invite those members with creative minds to design and submit a logo that embraces the tag-line. The Board will review all logos submitted, and make a decision at its next regularly-scheduled Board meeting. If your logo is selected, you’ll receive a $100 gift card to a local restaurant of your choice. Please forward your logo idea to Laura Kruszewski by close of business on Wednesday, June 30th if you would like it to be considered. You may contact Laura with any questions, as well. NEW Common Legal Problems in Property Management
Presented by the Tucson Association of REALTORS® Property Management Committee and the Tucson Chapter of The National Association of Residential Property Managers. Join us on Wednesday, July 14 from 1-4pm at TAR. This course is designed to help licensees better serve their clients by alerting them to common mistakes and pitfalls in property management that can cause legal problems for owners and managers. NEW Class Cancellation Policy
Policy states that any student arriving 5 minutes or more after the stated class start time will forfeit the credit hours (CE).

Cancellation Policy: You must cancel in writing (email/snail mail) at least 24 Hours prior to the class date or you will be assessed a $20 no show fee.

MLS Rule Change
Effective June 1st, MLS Rule 1.14 (B) states: Virtual Tours, photographs and any other form of media placed in the MLS shall contain no Broker, Company, or Agent branding. Producer information may be provided. This is merely an expansion of the existing rule that prohibits branding on still photos. Just as with a still photo, virtual tours and any other media in the MLS is not for the purpose of self promotion, but only to provide additional information about the listing.

Quick Fixes for Common ActiveKEY Issues

Access To Nationwide Foreclosure Information!
The MLS agreement with RealtyTrac now allows Tucson MLS members to access foreclosure information for the entire country for a discounted rate of only $19.95 per month. This change also allows for use of more tools on the RealtyTrac website!! There is no minimum term required to sign up. The links to register for this service are located in the MLS under the ‘links’ tab, and there is also a button on the www.tucsonrealtors.org website.
