The Voice of Real Estate within Southern Arizona

REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time within a two year cycle. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®.                  

The current two-year cycle will end Dec. 31, 2018.

Training may be completed through the free Code of Ethics courses at the Tucson Association of REALTORS®, other real estate schools, online courses or NAR.

NAR offers free ethics classes online at REALTOR.org. Please note: NAR Code of Ethics classes are not accredited with continuing education for your Arizona license renewal. 

 

New Members  |

All new TAR members are required to complete New Member Orientation within their first 90-days of membership. (Brokers is 30 days) By attending New Member Orientation, the NAR Code of Ethics mandate is fulfilled. 

Failure to comply with this requirement will result in membership termination until the class is taken. Access to MLS and other association benefits will also be inactivated.

Please note that ALL TAR members are REQUIRED to complete a Code of Ethics course by Saturday, December 31, 2016. Failure to fulfill this requirement will result in membership termination until the class is taken and reported to TAR. Access to MLS and other association benefits will also be inactivated. 

Once Code of Ethics Course is Completed…

All members must provide proof of their Code of Ethics completion by submitting a copy of their certificate to TAR. Certificates may be faxed to 520-322-6613 or emailed to education@tucsonrealtors.org  

NAR Code of Ethics Requirement
