Spring Training Baseball in Tucson!
Now is our chance to show our local Spring Training guests
that Southern Arizona supports and appreciates our MLB
partners. The goal is to sell out Hi Corbett Field and make
a lasting impression on the teams at the final 2008 game
between the Rockies and Diamondbacks in Tucson! The date of
the game is Wednesday, March 26th at 1:05. Here is the
"pitch" - purchase a block of tickets for your company.
These tickets can be used for your employees, customers,
friends and anyone else that you think will enjoy a great
afternoon at the ballpark. If you can't attend the game,
tickets will be donated in your name to local
military, off-duty public safety staff, senior groups or a
charity of your choice.

Range Price Listings We are
still receiving calls concerning Range Price listings.
Below is MLS’s position on these listings, and
information supporting our position from legal
counsel. 1) There is no requirement for either low or high
end of the price range to be entered as the list price.
2) There are no rules regarding the ‘spread’ or size of the
range. 3) The listing broker must accept or counter any offers
made on a Range Price listing. 4) The 1st line of the Property Description/Marketing
Remarks must disclose that it is a Range Price listing
by stating the following: ‘Seller will accept or counter
offers between xxxx and xxxx dollars.’ We hope
this removes some of the confusion regarding this
marketing strategy.

Recognize Your Peers With Special Recognition Nominations for
special recognition are not due until October 10, 2008, but
it’s not too soon to take note of outstanding
achievements/involvement by your peers.

Risk Tip of the Week:
Recruiting & Antitrust... Go Together Like Peas in a Pod!
An ongoing recruiting program is a key ingredient to growing
a real estate company. It is the first step of the
employment process and the start of potential legal
exposure. In an effort to build our organizations, we often
overlook the subject of antitrust in the interview process
and are remiss in discussing the subject with "new" or "new
to our company" agent hires.
Click here to read more...This risk reduction tip provided by TAR is a general statement
intended to raise important issues relevant to risk reduction.
This tip is not intended to be legal advice. It should not be a
substitute for advice of professional counsel or the assistance provided by
an agent's Designated Broker.
