The Tucson Association of REALTORS honored the REALTORS and affiliate members who have demonstrated outstanding involvement, participation and leadership in our community on Friday, November 20, 2009 at the Hilton El Conquistador. The incoming Board of Directors for the Tucson Association of REALTORS and the Multiple Listing Service were also installed by National Association of REALTORS President, Tucsons own, Vicki Cox Golder. Award winners are selected by a group of their peers who review nominations that come from the membership.

The Tucson Association of REALTORS honored John Mijac of Old Adobe Realty as 2009 REALTOR of the year.

Life Member Award:

Candidates for Life Membership must have either reached the age of 65 and have been an active REALTOR member for not less than 25 years, or have been an active REALTOR for not less than 30 years.  During those years, the Member must have conducted business in accordance with the Code of Ethics and rendered an outstanding contribution to the local, state or national Association.
